HOW SHALL THIS BE?

Some things are imaginable and there are many others that remain unimaginable to man as long as man's wisdom, knowledge, ability and understanding are limited. The imaginable are daily occurrences and are regarded as no news while the unimaginable are the rare occurrences and make headlines.

Mary was yet to come to terms with the bewilderment of being singled out among many women of becoming the potential mother of the Saviour of the World when it downed on her there was no mention of who will be responsible for the the conception. In her maze of confusion, she asked Angel Gabriel, 'How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?' In reality, no human explanation, not even an Angelic one is able to unravel the supernatural. The duty of man, yes his whole duty, is to toe the line of Mary: "And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word."— Luke 1:38 KJV

Being confronted with the task of imagining if dry and scattered bones could possibly come together to live again, Prophet Ezekiel spared himself of the headache of trying to fathom and imagine the unimaginable as he replied, "O Lord God, thou knowest.' knowing with the Lord, there is no limitations— Ezekiel 37:3

What are those visions that look unattainable? It may not be necessary for you to try to come to terms on how it can be attained or realised as man's duty is to diligently obey the Lord's instructions, look beyond his limitations and see 'those things that be not as though they are' and soon, heaven will open its floodgates of awesome and supernatural splendor that will always be marvelous in our sights.

GREATER THAN WEAPONS OF WARFARE

Jeremiah 51:20-21 KJV

Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: ... And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider;

The Word of God is quick and powerful, sharper than any two edged sword. Those who have their faith and trust in it never lose any battle. David knew the power in the Word when with all the peripheral of war that Goliath adorned himself with looked directly to his face and with all boldness, said, 'Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.'

God will always stand by his Word to defend it and see that it accomplishes it's mission.

The book of Psalms says, ' I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name— Psalm 138:2 KJV. To magnify is to hold in high esteem and value beyond measure. Whatever you esteem high, you will always be ready to defend and protect. He is waiting to back you up when you act on His Word and use it as a defence, for pulling down every high thing that will want to exalt itself against the knowledge of God in your life, for commanding every storm to be still, for bringing to a halt the intrusion of the enemy into your territory.

GROWING UP TO MATURITY

1 Peter 2:2 KJV

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Growth is a significant aspect of human life. Growth starts right away after conception as the foetus begins to take different forms and shapes till the day of delivery. Right after this, there is a time the baby is expected to sit unaided, and also a time to start crawling, standing and eventually walking and It is always a sort of concern to every parent when this is delayed.
I remembered about a month ago, when my wife ran to the sitting room with so great a joy to announce to me that Gozie(our baby that was then eleven months stood up unassisted for the very first time, today he is already walking)

In this same vain, it should be the joy of every christian not only to grow spiritually but also monitor and encourage such spiritual maturity in his children even as they grow physically and mentally. 'And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him — Luke 2:40 KJV It is not just enough to say we are saved, it is not also enough to say we know Christ while we continue to dwell in spiritual stagnancy, 'Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment— Hebrews 6:1-2 KJV

My Parents and career

My parents were angry with me for choosing the Ministry. They did everything they could to stop me but I was resolute. They could not understand why of all professions, I chose the ministry. I was working in the bank, and very comfortable.

They said I had bright future in the then African Continental Bank, Lagos. And to worsen it all, of all places in the Pentecostal church, they maintained that if I want to answer the call of God, I should go and answer from the Anglican or Catholic. THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD 2015 ANNUAL CONVENTION KICKS OFF

LAGOS— The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has enjoined all participants at the church’s annual convention, which begins today with the ordination of deacons/deaconesses at the Redemption Camp on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, to prepare themselves for unprecedented breakthrough and a new level of walk with God.

The church’s 63rd convention billed to run for one week is expected to attract Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, and other anointed ministers of the gospel from local and international circuit.

In a welcome address to the thousands of people who defied yesterday’s downpour in parts of the country on their voyage to the camp, Pastor Adeboye urged them to remember to obey all camp rules and be at the right place at the right time, while assuring them of an encounter with God again as “He decrees goodness, mercy, favour, and healing into your life.”
